Why Finance?

This is the most common question asked by interviewer to every finance student.
It is said that, generally the people who choose finance as their career have thought a lot before stepping in. They've inquisitive mindset towards career goals. Hence finance students have of various answers to this question.
One of my friends said in JP Morgan's interview that he was inspired by the character of Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara who played a role of workaholic financial trader and this made him to enter into investment banking.
Some students say that finance drives their interpersonal skills like analytical or logical towards their career goals.
The students who want to do a business say that "financial management is one of the pedestals of business which keeps a company financially stable, so learning finance help them to run a business."
Most of the times new generation relates everything with technology so FinTech i.e. finance with technology makes student to choose finance where they can use their technical skills with numbers. 
There are also various verticals of finance like corporate management , risk management , investment banking , accounting , equity research, insurance sector etc. Students find sufficient wide scope in the field of finance.
One of the professors of University of Michigan Gautam Kaul says that "finance is love. It's the study of value. Decision making with finance is a daily thing everyone does". Finance person can be a manager , analysts , adviser , examiner or a businessman.
Finance is connected with technology, science management etc. which enthusiasts a student work with it. Finance person works with daily calculations to large number of data as well as economic and industry forecasts.
Company's every decision is incomplete without an opinion of finance manager as spending money wisely is what he can do perfectly. Finance manager has to work with daily, quarterly, monthly, annually for the long term budgets.
Financial manager majorly needs to have communication skills, technical skills, analytical skills which makes them the best among all managers. Senior management is always dependent upon the financial budgets and reports.
Concentration and being particular with work is what finance manager needs. The significance of the decisions taken by them, make the company to step towards success. Finance may be a pressure career but it has beauty of numbers and finance manager has a tremendous amazing success with respect.
Finance manager can find various challenging projects to do which will help them to growth in their career. Finance manager interacts with all the departments of company and they are the center of every organisation.
Finance has an amazing career growth if the person acquires required skills and work as a person who is hungry for knowledge, with out of the box thought process which conclude perfect decisions for a company.
So pursuing career in finance is a journey where you can travel for long time with new experiences and learning at every step!
