COVID-19,
an ongoing pandemic in various countries of the world are affecting human lives
on the various fronts. As the days are passing, number of patients are
increasing at a very alarming rate. In the absence of any Medical treatment for
this pandemic, Social Distancing is the only possible remedy as of now. So, the
governments of various countries are announcing complete or partial lockdown that
will result in major economic disruptions.
Initially
Our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced lockdown till 31st
March, 2020. Later on 24th March 2020, he extended the lockdown for a
further period of 21 days. In order to
deal with lockdown and to implement COVID-19 guidelines issued by the
government, various organisations adopted the policy of "Work From
Home".
On
23rd March 2020, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs introduced a Form
CAR (Company Affirmation of Readiness towards COVID-19) for Companies /LLP to
confirm readiness to deal with COVID-19 Threat. This Form CAR should be filled
by the authorised signatory of the Company/LLP. It is just a confirmation form
to check whether companies /LLPs are complying with COVID-19 guidelines or not.
As of now, there is no due date for the submission of the Form CAR.
Steps For Filling Form - CAR (Company
Affirmation of Readiness towards COVID-19)
Step
1 : Enter Valid CIN/FCRN/LLPIN/FLLPIN.
Step
2 : Click on Pre - Fill tab.
Step
3 : System will Pre- Fill the name of the Indian Company or a Foreign Company
or LLP or Foreign LLP.
Step
4 : Select Whether Company/LLP is in compliance of COVID-19 guidelines
including work from home Policy.
Step
5: Enter the Valid DIN / PAN or Membership number of the Authorised Signatory
of the Company/LLP.
Step
6 : Then click on the Pre-fill tab provided there.
Step
7 : For OTP Verification, Enter Mobile
No. of the Authorized signatory.
Step
8 : Enter the OTP and click on the submit button.
No
DSC is required for filling this form. There is no prescribed fees and also, no
SRN will be generated for this form.
